Getting ready for Term 2

Term 2 lessons in the centres is always my favourite, the children have met me and they know how the lessons roll. Safety in routine has been established. NOW WE GET TO EXPAND. So Term 2 is cultural songs from many countries. Its all the behavioural songs still for the 0 – 3’s but the 3-4’s get to really explore the sense of other and we journey through song into the music of other languages. About 10 actually, and more if there’s time. So far the languages include Dutch, Spanish, English, Japanese, Bunjalung, French, African, Inuit, Ozlan and Hebrew. Wonderful songs and loads of fun. If you’d like me to visit your centre weekly or fortnightly I have a few places left in the program. However it’s first in first served.
Super excited to be starting a Play and Sing group at the Shaping Outcomes facility too. Anyway I’ll see you around the village. x Fi
